ANZIAM 2008

ANZIAM, a
division of the Australian Mathematical Society, is the professional
association for industrial and applied mathematics in Australia and
New Zealand.
The annual conference of ANZIAM is an established gathering of applied mathematicians, scientists and engineers, which will be hosted by the New South Wales Branch in 2008. The venue is the
Carrington
Hotel in Katoomba. Katoomba is in the centre of the
Blue Mountains in
New South Wales, 2 hours by train or car from Sydney.
Contributed talks and posters on all areas of applied mathematics
are welcome for inclusion in the conference abstracts. Students talks
are especially encouraged and will be eligible for the T.M. Cherry
Prize, named in honour of the distinguished Australian mathematician
Sir
Thomas Macfarland Cherry.
Please note also the Mathematics in Industry Study Group, which will be
held at the University of Wollongong from January 28th - February 1st 2008: MISG 2008

Early bird registration and on-line abstract submission
for the conference is now closed. On-line registration via this
website will close on the 29th January.
Registration is still possible, however a late fee applies
for registration.
To register please go to the fees page, and from there you will be able to proceed
to the registration page. If you wish to submit an abstract to the waiting-list, in case a slot becomes free, please contact the organisers.
