Registration Fees and Payment Options

Registration Fees

All prices are in Australian dollars

There are two main forms of registration; full registration and day registration. A late fee for Registration of $50.00 will be added after December 18, 2007.

Full Registration

The costs for full registration are as follows:

ANZIAM Members	A$450.00	ANZIAM Retired Members	A$300.00
ANZIAM Student Members	A$300.00	Non-members	A$500.00

These fees include welcoming BBQ, lunch and morning and afternoon tea for the three main days of the conference, and lunch and morning tea for the final morning.

Student Support Scheme

ANZIAM is currently negotiating to obtain funding for a scheme which will support students to attend the ANZIAM conference and those of the ANZIAM special interest groups. Details of this scheme will be posted as soon as they are finalised.

Discount for COSNet members who are postgraduates or Early Career Researchers

The first 50 Postgraduate Students and Early Career Researchers (within 5 years of award of PhD degree) to pay their registration fee will receive a discount of $50 if they are COSNet members. Membership of COSNet - ARC Complex Open Systems Research Network is free and open to all. To join, go to joining COSNet. You will also be asked for details about your eligibility on the conference registration form. Once you have appeared on the COSNet participants list, you are eligible to pay the full registration fee shown below:

ANZIAM Members (COSNet ECRs)	A$400.00	ANZIAM student members (COSNet members)	A$250.00
Non-members (COSNet ECRs)	A$450.00

Day Registration

Delegates that only wish to attend a subset of the conference may purchase day registration at a cost of:

Conference Dinner

The registration fee does not include the cost of the conference dinner. Tickets for the conference dinner are:

Dinner Tickets	A$65.00 per person

Travel from the airport

The train from the airport to Katoomba, changing at Central Station, takes about 2.5 hours and is currently $23.80 one way. See travel for details.

Tuesday Afternoon

At this stage no organised events have been planned, as there are so many possibilities within easy reach of the hotel. However, we expect to organise people to lead walks. If there is sufficient interest groups can be organised for places such as the Norman Lindsay Gallery, Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens or the Zig-Zag Railway.

Accompanying Persons

Lunch on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and dinner and drinks at the welcoming BBQ may be purchased for an accompanying person at a fee of

Additional Meals	A$175.00 per person

This does not include morning and afternoon teas.

Payment Options

Payment for conference fees can be made using the following methods (after completion of registration):

• Our preferred method is credit card payment using the Online Payment scheme.
• Cheques made out to the University of Sydney. These can be mailed to the ANZIAM 2008 Office, details of which can be found on your payment form.

The Conference Editor reserves the right to decline submitted abstracts. If you intend to submit an abstract, payment can be deferred until after receiving notification that it has been accepted.
