Professor Andrew J. Pullan

Andrew Pullan is a professor in the Engineering Science Department and a member of the Bioengineering Research Institute. He was a former holder of a James Cook Research Fellowship, widely regarded as New Zealand's most prestigious science and technology award. He has been a visiting faculty member at several overseas Universities in the US, UK and Europe, and has an adjunct appointment at Vanderbilt University. He currently holds grants from several funding sources, The Foundation for Research Science and Technology, The Health Research Council (NZ) and the US National Institute of Health. His research interests focus on biological modelling, particularly the electrical activity of muscles.
