PDE Seminar

A nonlinear interpolation result with application to nonlinear semigroups

Monday 7 March 2014 14:00-15:00, Carslaw Room 829 (AGR)

Abstract

In this talk, I want to present a new nonlinear interpolation theorem, which improves Peetres (Theorem 3.1 in [Mathematica1970]) and Tartar’s (Théorème 4 in JFA1972) nonlinear interpolation results. In order to highlight the strength of this result I will provide some applications to nonlinear semigroups.

The results present in this talk are obtained in joint work with Thierry Coulhon (PSL, Paris)
