SUMS -- Cake Bake

On Friday, SUMS will be having their 2nd cake bake! This will be run the same as last
semester, so I will repeat the details from that notice: 

- People (maybe even you?) bake cakes, and bring them (location and time mentioned
below).  

- The cakes are then judged by a member(s) of the Maths & Stats Department.  Judging is
based on 2 categories: Best tasting, and most amusing mathematical reference (although
these categories are subject to change by the judges).  (NOTE: the categories are judged
independently.  For example, if you have the best tasting cake with no mathematical
references, you’ll still win the best tasting category.  Plus, someone will likely come
up with an obscure mathematical reference for your cake anyway :) ).  

- The winners of each category will get a prize.  Anyone who submits a cake and doesn’t
win will be awarded a smaller prize.  

- After judging, the cakes are then eaten by SUMS members.  

The prizes will be the same as last time, Coles Gift Vouchers.  Every cake is guaranteed
to win a prize, so all you keen bakers should definitely give it a go! 

Event: SUMS Cake Bake
Location: Carslaw Room 727 (this is the common room.  When exiting
the elevator on level 7, turn right and walk down the hallway, the room will be the last
on your right).
Date/Time: Friday, August 28, 1-2pm.
Judge: To be determined.
