2014 National Computational Merit Allocation Scheme applications

Current NCI users
Applications for the 2014 National Computational Merit Allocation Scheme (NCMAS) are now open. The closing date for applications has been moved to Friday, 8 November 2013 to compensate for delays in opening the application round. NCI apologises for delays in getting the application round underway.

The attached PDF document describes changes in the application process for the 2014 application round. Applicants should carefully read this document in full before starting or updating an application. The revised application guidelines can also be viewed online at: http://nci.org.au/2013/10/15/ncmas-information-for-applicants

Application procedures for 2014 differ slightly from previous years. Notable changes are:

  1. Each researcher can be a Chief Investigator on only one application,
  2. Proposal length and rigour will depend on the allocation requested,
  3. Requests will be quantised within application categorised (by size,)
  4. Special allocations will be made to accommodate early career researchers.
*** Please read the attached application information document in full, and take note of the revised closing date of 8 November 2013 before starting your application. ***

Please forward this message and attachment to interested colleagues.

Consult the NCI web site (http://nci.org.au) or contact NCMAS Administration (help@ncmas.nci.org.au) if you have any questions about the application process.

Best regards,
NCMAS Administration
