Algebra Seminar

Lie conformal algebras were introduced by Kac to describe the quantum theoretical notion of operator product expansions. We shall first briefly discuss structural features of the simple Lie conformal algebras of finite type, then present some results of our own on the classification and construction of the finite irreducible representations of the W- and S-series of Lie conformal algebras.
