Weight representations of Kac-Moody algebras.
Friday September 14, 12-1pm, Carslaw 375.
We will discuss the theory of weight modules for Kac-Moody Lie algebras. In particular, we will compare such modules in the case of finite-dimensional simple Lie algebras and in the case of affine Kac-Moody algebras. Also a relation of certain categories of weight modules for Kac-Moody algebras to module categories of stratified finite-dimensional associative algebras will be considered.
