Representations of extended affine Lie algebras

In this talk we will introduce a category of bounded modules for the extended affine Lie algebras. We will show that using the technique of the vertex algebras, one can get an explicit description of the irreducible modules in this category. This talk is based on joint work with Michael Lau.
