Frobenius algebras and pseudo-algebras
Ross Street (21/1/04)
Motivated by [Michael Müger, From subfactors to categories and topology. I: Frobenius algebras in and Morita equivalence of tensor categories, J. Pure Appl. Algebra 180 (2003) 81-157], several equivalent definitions of Frobenius monad were discussed. Autonomous pseudomonoids in the sense of [B.J. Day, P. McCrudden and R. Street, Dualizations and antipodes, Applied Categorical Structures 11 (2003) 229-260] were shown to be Frobenius in the appropriate "pseudo" sense.
