Abstract

Let G be a simple linear algebraic group of type F₄ over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero. We describe generators of the algebra of invariants of a system of vectors of a minimal irreducible representatioin of G in terms of trace polynomials of an exceptional simple Jordan algebra (the Albert algebra) and Laplace operators.
