Assignment
The assignment will be due on Friday, 31 March 2017, which will be marked and worth 5% of your final mark. Please note that the maximum possible extension for the assignment is 7 days (including the weekend). The handwritten assignment must be scanned/imaged and submitted in PDF format online via LMS with Turnitin. Please ensure your submitted pdf is legible and keep your original handwritten version.
Quiz
The quiz will be held during your practice class on Thursday, 13 April 2017, which will be marked and worth 30% of your final mark. You must sit for the quiz in the practice class in which your name is printed on the tutor's roll. You will need to place your student card on the desk during the quiz. The quiz will consist of 15 multiple choice questions based on the material covered during lectures up to the end of week 5. This material is covered in Chapters 1  5 and 7 of the Course Notes for Linear Mathematics, in practice sessions 1  5 and in tutorials 1  5. The time allowed for the quiz is 40 minutes. Answers to the questions are to be entered on a scannable sheet. Please bring a soft lead pencil, and an eraser to the quiz with you.
