MATH1002 Linear Algebra (Summer School)

Consultation hour

• Fridays 1-2pm, Carslaw 707A. If you cannot make this time, please feel free to email the lecturer to organise another time.

Homework

• There are four sets of homework which are selected from the Thursday tutorials and due the following day, for the first four weeks. Please see the relevant tutorial sheets below for the homework questions.

Quiz

• The quiz was held on February 2 during your tutorial, and is worth 15% of your mark. The sample quiz can be found here.

Assignment

• The assignment may be found here. It was due at 10am (the beginning of the lecture) on Thursday the 9th of February. The cover sheet can be found here, and solutions will be posted on Monday the 13th of February.
• Assignments will not be accepted later than Friday 10th February (unless a prior arrangement has been made with the lecturers).

Examination

• The exam will begin on Friday the 17th of February at 1:50pm in Carslaw 350/351.

The lecturers will be available for exam consultations:

• Clinton Boys - Wednesday 15th, 3-5pm, Carslaw 707A.
• Andrew Crisp - Thursday 16th, noon-2pm, Carslaw 707A.

Provisional 2012 Summer Timetable

All rooms are in the Carslaw building unless otherwise indicated.

Students meet with the lecturer for the first time at 10 am on Thursday 5 January 2012 in Carslaw Lecture Theatre 373. At that time students will receive their tutorial allocations. The anticipated tutorial streams appear below, though the final number of tutorial streams is subject to sufficient overall enrolments, known in December 2011.
