The unit of study MATH1003 Integral Calculus and Modelling will be offered at the Summer School. Further information will be posted here in due course.

Exam Format

For your information, the exam will consist of SIX "extended answer" questions (there will be NO multiple choice component). The SIX questions are not all worth the same amount, though their respective weights don't differ too much.

  • The answers to the 2001 and 2002 exams, and the solutions to the 2003 exam, can be downloaded here.
  • Shona's extra exam consultation hours: Tuesday February 19th 3-5pm in rm 707A.
  • Hamish's extra exam consultation hour: Monday February 18th 1-2pm in rm 707A.

Extra REVISION lecture:

  • After the last summer school lecture, Hamish and I will hold an EXTRA revision lecture on Monday February 18th 2-4pm in Carslaw 273.

Australia Day make-up classes on Wed 30th Jan

To make up for the public holiday on Monday 28th January, the following classes have been scheduled:

Consultation Hour for week 4 (29th Jan - 1st Feb)

Hamish will have a consultation hour this week at 1pm on Tuesday 29th January in Carslaw Room 707A. This is an ideal time to come and ask questions about quiz 3, which will be held in the tutorials after the lecture on the same day. Shona will announce her consultation times in the lecture.

The tutorials for the course can be accessed below. (NYA is an abbreviation for Not Yet Available.) These tutorials are the same as those in your course notes. Note: the first tutorial will be on Exercise Sheet 2; subsequent tutorials will be on subsequent Exercise Sheets. An optional Preparatory Exercise Sheet is provided for those who whould like some practice problems before the course gets started.
