MATH1011 Applications of Calculus (Summer School)

Web quizzes: you should attempt the web quizzes as you progress through the course as a way of self-assessment. They can be found here.

Consultation Hours: Consultations will be held every Tuesday directly after the tutorial (1-2pm) in Carslaw 495.

Quizzes and Assignments: The assignment is now available and is due at the beginning of the last lecture, namely 10am on the 14th February 2012. Please do start working on it straight away as it's worth 25% of your final mark and will take considerable time to complete!

There will be two quizzes, each worth 10% of the final raw mark of the whole course. They are held during the tutorials on 23/1/2012 and 6/2/2012 (weeks 4 and 6 respectively).

Pre-Exam Consultation: will be held in Carslaw 495, on Friday 17th February 2011 3-5pm. Check this space for more details later!

Final Exam: will be held on Monday the 20th of February 2011 in Carslaw 360/361 at 1:50pm (please arrive EARLY!) Check this space for more details later!

Provisional 2012 Summer Timetable

All rooms are in the Carslaw building unless otherwise indicated.

Students meet with the lecturer for the first time at 10 am on Monday 9 January 2012 in Carslaw Lecture Theatre 375. At that time students will receive their tutorial allocation. The anticipated tutorial streams appear below, though the final number of tutorial streams is subject to sufficient overall enrolments, known in December 2011.
