  • Mon 06/02: Practice quiz 2 and solutions are up.
  • Mon 30/01: Assignment 2 is now up. Staple together the assignment cover sheet which can be found here. Show all working out in the assignment. It is due at the start of the lecture Monday February 6th.
  • Wed 25/01: Quiz 1 has been returned. Please check that your marks are recorded correctly. Please report any changes needed by 01/02.

Quizzes and Assignments:

  • There will be two quizzes, each worth 10%. It will be held in tutorials on Monday 23rd January and Monday 13th February.
  • There will be two assignments, each worth 5%. It will be due on Monday 30th January and Monday 6th February.

Help

  • For administrative matters, go to the Mathematics Student Office, Carslaw room 520.
  • For help with mathematics, see your lecturer, or your tutor. Lecturers guarantee to be available during their consulation hour, but may well be available at other times as well.
  • If you are having difficulties with mathematics due to insufficient background, you should go to the Mathematics Learning Centre (Carslaw Room 438 - open Wednesdays 12-2pm Wk 2-6) and also you can use their resource page. In particular, you should be familiar with elementary integration.

2012 Summer Timetable

All rooms are in the Carslaw building unless otherwise indicated.

Students meet with the lecturer for the first time at 2 pm on Monday 9 January 2012 in Carslaw Lecture Theatre 173. Students whose last name is from A-K will be in tutorial stream 1 and students whose last name is from J-Z will be in tutorial stream 2.
