MATH3962 - Corrections to the slides from lectures

This is the complete list of corrections and updates to the lecture slides for Math3962 which were made on or after March 28.

May 28	Lec 36	Rewrote the proof of Lemma 36.7 (see also slide 36.8) in an attempt to make the argument clearer. Will revisit this next Monday.
May 26	Lec 34	Fixed problem with labeling of groups generated by &sigma² and &sigma³τ on slides 34.3 and 34.3.
May 27	Lec 31	Corrected the statement of Lemma 31.1 which should read: [E:F]≤(deg f)!
May 26	Lec 34	Corrected (and reordered) the labelling of the `words' on slide 34.2.
May 26	Lec 33	Minor corrections
May 21	Lec 32	Corrected problem in the proof of Theorem 32.3 when showing that Gal(E:L)=Gal(E:K).
Apr 22	Lec 31	Updated slides for lectures 26-31 so that extensions always take the form E:F (rather than F:E) and fixed typos in Lemma 31.3 and Theorem 31.5.
May 4	Lec 14	Fixed the typo in second line of Corollary 14.4 on slide 14.7, as pointed out by John Maclean.
Apr 22	Lec 20 Lec 17	Fixed up statement of Corollary 17.6 and uploaded lecture 20.
Apr 21	Lec 19 Lec 18 Lec 17	Corrected several typos from last week and uploaded the slides for lecture 19.
Apr 10	Lec 15	Rewrote the proof of Proposition 15.3 to try and make the argument clearer. Added Corollary 15.9, which says that primes and irreducibles coincide in a PID -- before this was implicit and not actually stated.
Apr 8	Lec 7	Small correction to slide 7.2: added check that I is non-empty
Apr 8	Lec 13	Rephrased Zorn's lemma in an attempt to make it more understandable. Corrected various typos including the statement of Theorem 13.2 and the last line of the example on slide 8. Moved slide 9 to lecture 14.
Apr 7	Lec 13	Uploaded corrected slides for Lecture 13, together with additional statements equivalent to the Axiom of Choice
Apr 2	Lec 12	Uploaded slightly corrected slides for Lecture 12 at 3pm after lecture
Apr 2	Lec 11	Uploaded slides for Lecture 11 at 11am.
Apr 1	Lec 2	Corrected typos in the proof of Lemma 2.2
Mar 31	Lec 10	Uploaded slides for Lecture 10 at 11am and revised after the Lecture at 3:45pm.
Mar 28	Lec 9	Fixed up the proof of Proposition 9.10 (slide 10) so that it agrees with the proof given in lectures
