Heavy Rail to Sydney's Northern Beaches

I have taken an interest in a matter of topical interest in Sydney: the provision of improved transport to the northern beaches of Sydney. There have been many reports from government and local government on this issue, yet none (in recent times) has addressed properly the use of heavy rail.  I have observed a way of linking rail from the Manly Vale area to the existing heavy-rail network and written about my idea, so that it is in the public domain. I am not an engineer, just a citizen concerned about public transport. I believe that the idea has merit, but I might be naive.  Download pdf file.
