Solutions for Act III Scene 1 - Inversion

Some of the elements of these cards are reminiscent of ambigrams, words written in such a way that they remain words when rotated a half-cycle.

In fact, rotating and rearranging the six cards can create one long ambigram that gives us two related messages:

"aka the moor of Venice" implies the answer Othello.
Rotating this we get:

"Russia's aim in Crimea" implies the answer annexation.

Othello and Annexation are both alternative names for the board game most commonly known as Reversi.

Design notes:
Originally this puzzle was monochrome, but it was deemed too difficult to piece together because of ambiguities in the letters out of context (even in context for some letters). This is why the red and blue was adopted - so that when reading the phrase, the tops of alternate letters alternate colours.
