Computational Algebra Seminar: Kasprzyk -- Computational aspects extremal Laurent polynomials and Fano varieties

Speaker: Al Kasprzyk (Imperial)
Title: Computational aspects extremal Laurent polynomials and Fano varieties
Time & Place: 3-4pm, Thursday 19 January, Carslaw 535

Abstract:
I will outline a project to list Minkowski polynomials in four variables and
sketch the connection with Fano 4-folds. This is experimental work in progress
with Alessio Corti, Tom Coates, Sergei Galkin, and Vasily Golyshev.
