Abstract: The continuity method is a powerful tool in the study of Kaehler geometry. Recently La Nave and Tian proposed a continuity method approach to the Analytic Minimal Model Program, which, roughly speaking, aims to classify the Kaehler manifolds by understanding the singularity formation of the continuity method. In this talk, we shall try to discuss the main idea by exhibiting the picture on manifolds of a semi-ample canonical line bundle. The focus will be the metric properties of Song-Tian (singular) generalized Kaehler-Einstein metric and geometric convergence of the continuity method. The talk is based on joint works with Zhenlei Zhang.
