Research Fellow Taehun Lee is giving a talk in our Asia-Pacific Analysis and PDE Seminar on

On the $L_p$ dual Minkowski problem

Abstract:

A cornerstone of the Brunn--Minkowski theory is the Minkowski problem initiated by Minkowski himself over a century ago. This problem characterizes measures generated by convex bodies, and has been generalized to the $L_p$ dual Minkowski problem which incorporates the Alexandrov problem as well as the logarithmic Minkowski problem. In this talk, we discuss about recent developments in this problem, focusing on solutions to the logarithmic Minkowski problem.

Chair: Ki-Ahm Lee (Seoul National University, South Korea)

More information and how to attend this talk can be found at the seminar webpage .
