SUMS: Liang -- Programming with Fractions

This week’s SUMS talk is being given by undergrad student Kevin Liang.

Abstract: Start with an ordered list of positive fractions, and a positive integer n.
Multiply n by the first fraction in the list that results in an integer, and repeat
until this is not possible. That’s all there is to FRACTRAN, a programming language so
easy to explain that even Fermat’s margins would have enough space. No programming
experience required!
