Title: The Selberg integral and representation theory

Abstract: Atle Selberg’s famous multiple integral has applications
in many areas of mathematics and physics, including random matrix
theory, number theory, geometry and integrable systems. In this
talk I will discuss some old and new occurrences of the Selberg
integral in group theory and representation theory, including the
theory of finite reflection groups, KZ equations, and the AGT
conjecture in conformal field theory.
