Remote connect with SSH on Windows

for Cynthia and other "admin" people

These instructions are for Windows10 users.
See also instructions for Mac users.

Once-only setup
Follow the setup instructions in SSH HowTo and also do as follows.
NOTE: replace any occurrence of MATHSNAME by your Maths login name!

    ln -s /users/misc/shared   drive-Y-shared
    ln -s /users/misc/teaching drive-T-teaching
    ln -s /usr/sms             drive-L-local
    ln -s /nb/MATHSNAME        drive-N-nobackup

For SFTPdrive to not need to prompt for password:

    ssh-keygen     (press ENTER twice: to accept filename, and to use empty passphrase)
    ln -s id_rsa.pub ~/.ssh/authorized_keys

(or just command xfrom enna that will do same).

In a new terminal window on your laptop (NOT the enna window):
- Copy the "private key" file from enna to your laptop, with command:
```
    scp -P 12022 MATHSNAME@localhost:~/.ssh/id_rsa .ssh
```
- If you still have an office desktop PC and want to RDP to it, then
  create a new short-hand command "ssh3", with:
```
    echo perl "%USERPROFILE%\bin\ssh-with-2fa" -L 3390:pXYZ.admin:3389 MATHSNAME@enna > bin\ssh3.bat
```
  Put a shortcut on your Desktop, pointing to this ssh3:
  right-click anywhere in the desktop background,
  choose New Shortcut, browse to C:\Users\username\bin\ssh3 and OK.
Install SFTPdrive from http://www.nsoftware.com/sftp/drive/
Note that bianco H and enna X home directories have been "merged",
now named M (because Windows MCS use H for something else).
Connect to just one drive on enna is sufficient, so the free version
of SFTPdrive works fine, no need for full licenced version.
Put a shortcut to SFTPdrive on your Desktop, and set it up with
(click OK, but do not yet connect):
```
    Drive Name:  drive-M-home             Drive Letter:  M:
    Remote host:    localhost
    Remote port:    12022
    Authentication: Public Key
    Username:       MATHSNAME
    Private Key:    (Browse to) C:\Users\username\.ssh\id_rsa (then Open, Open, OK)
    Remote Folder:  User's home folder
```
For printing setup follow the instructions in SSH HowTo CUPS and
Visitors printing Windows so using http://localhost:12631/printers/eslw or similar.

Then log out of enna (and maybe restart your laptop).

How to use (daily)

Click the ssh2 or ssh3 icon, log in to enna.
In this enna window you can run (type commands)
```
    mupdate
    rosters
    web-minutes
```
and similar; leave it running anyway.
Click the SFTPdrive icon, click Start.
See your files in the M drive, and in drive-Y-shared etc within there;
use them as "normal".
If you used ssh3 then you may use RDP to your office PC.
Print to any printers you had set up.

When done for the day, close everything in the "right" order:

Click the SFTPdrive icon, click Stop
Close all your mupdate, rosters etc windows
If you used RDP then close its window to disconnect
Type exit to close the enna window
