Rename (disable) Software

Start up Windows Explorer, e.g. by double-clicking the My Computer icon on the desktop. Rename files or folders by clicking twice (slowly, not double-clicking) on the name, or by right-clicking on the name and selecting Rename, or selecting that from the menu; possibly by pre-pending the name with Unwanted-.
