Week 4 workshop: Tutorial

Make sure you print off a copy of the tutorial and bring it to your tutorial with you. Additional questions are for further practise.

Week 5 workshop: Computer lab

The Computer lab will be held in Week 5 for all students who have their workshops on Monday - Thursday. For the students who have their workshop on a Friday, the computer lab will be held on Friday Week 6.

Before the lab make sure you work through all the tutorial questions and practice questions from Week 4 - if you're unsure about anything ask your tutor in week 5.

Week 7 workshop: Quiz

Some important points to note for the quiz:

• The quiz will take place in the first hour of your weekly workshops.
• Arrive on time (this may mean getting an earlier train/bus to ensure you're not late).
• Bring a non-programmable calculator. A list of approved calculators can be found here.
• The best preparation is to work through the tutorial questions and additional questions, understand the concepts from the lab and go through the examples and definitions in the lecture notes.
• It is a closed book quiz. You can't take any notes in with you. The only formula you will be given is for S_xy.
